Copyright and DMCA

How to send a copyright notice to GetYTMP3 and what happens next.

Our position

GetYTMP3 is a general-purpose tool. We do not host a library of videos, we do not index or publish other people's content, and we have no catalogue to browse. A file exists on our servers only because a signed-in user asked for it, and only until its retention window ends.

Sending a notice

If you believe the service is being used to infringe a copyright you hold, write to [email protected] with: your contact details; identification of the work; the specific URL or task involved; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised; a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them; and your signature.

What we do

Valid notices are acted on promptly. We remove the file identified, and we will block a specific source URL from being processed again where that is the right remedy. Accounts that repeatedly attract valid notices are suspended.

Counter-notices

If your file was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, identification of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe its removal was an error.
